Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) is a proactive instructional approach to discipline, aiming to increase the likelihood that students and staff are responsible, safe, respectful and engaged learners.

Matraville Sports High School strives to provide a safe, positive and engaging environment through a proactive student management and wellbeing policy. This policy supports and encourages all students to meet their academic, social and emotional needs. Student's rights and responsibilities are supported through the implementation of Positive Behaviour for Learning and the school's restorative practices program.
